PROINVESTE Guiné-Bissau

Project under the PRO€INVEST program, a partnership program between the European Union and the ACP countries (Africa, Caribbean and Pacific), developed by the European Commission for the benefit of the ACP countries.

Execution Period: 2011 to 2013

Approved budget: 1M€

Goals:

Promote investment and technology transfer for companies operating in ACP countries key sectors.

Activities:

Organization and execution of specialized training actions in BDS (Business Development Services) with beneficiaries as Intermediary Organizations in Guinea-Bissau;

Collaborative activities within the network of Intermediary Organizations in Guinea-Bissau as well as with other similar networks in African countries and the European Union;

Organization of Public-Private Dialogue workshops;

Results:

The implementation of the project has ensured the development of several actions focused on improving “governance” and strengthening the capacities of intermediary organizations in promoting the development of the private sector in Guinea-Bissau.
